This morning we were invited to attend the Big Life Fellowship service and myself, Mat, Sam and Malcolm attended this whilst the rest of the team attended Subir's church. Poor Kathy was feeling quite poorly this morning and so stayed back and rested. The four action teamers also joined us ( Jake, Nick, Hannah and Hannah ) along with Lizzie ( an ex volunteer with BMS ) and her mum Jane who were just coming to the end of a three week visit.
The service was just lovely and beautiful in its simplicity. I left with a real feeling of peace. I got up and shared a reflection and we all sang my God is an awesome God to the church. Mat preached on John 8 ( let he who is without sin etc) with Benjamin translating and really engaged with the congregation. He even use rocks as props.
Now sitting in my room having had lunch of ... you've guessed it ... curry! and am going to rest up a bit as my back has been quite painful today. We have another service to attend this evening at one of Benjamin's churches and so need to pace ourselves a bit as it is very warm here! Sorry to rub it in!
